I’m definitely interested in this topic, as it’s something I struggle with in paragliding. It’s strange to me because there is not one single event that has created fear within me. However, different aspects in the sport trigger the feeling ie height, turbulence in a thermal, and most of the time feeling like I don’t know enough about what I’m doing. Thank you for sharing this and some of your own experience regarding this topic.
Thanks for sharing this Ker. The thing that stands out is that last line — "I don't know enough about what I'm doing." That's often what's underneath the height and turbulence response. It's not really fear of those things — it's a question of self-trust in the moment. That's actually very workable.

That really makes me happy that it is something that is workable, rather than an irrational fear that is harder to overcome.
And even what feels 'irrational' usually isn't — it just hasn't been understood yet. That's the work.
👏👏 looking forward to more !
I had some time to apply some of the principles recently, excited to share them soon.
Had some difficult landings last weekend that rattled me a bit , reminded me that those feelings are still there ..and I can overcome them.
You definitely can, but it might be something that needs some form of structure or plan.
